Many people now picture Jesus the way The Chosen shows him. Research shows that a general disclaimer doesn’t stop viewers from remembering a drama’s errors as fact, but a specific comparison does.
So that is what this series is: lines from the show beside the words of the King James Bible, one scene at a time, so you can search the Scriptures and see whether those things are so (Acts 17:11).
"These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so." — Acts 17:11 (KJV)
Each post also points you to the good news the show leaves out: the Jesus of the Bible, who came down from heaven, spoke only what the Father gave him, and finished the work of salvation.
